Vision Hero Trout Fly Reel

The Hero reel series delivers outstanding performance and reliability at a price point that makes no compromises. These affordable yet striking semi-machined reels are built to perform across a wide range of fishing situations, combining modern looks with proven engineering.

At the heart of the reel is a silky-smooth but powerful disc drag system, constructed from five precision-matched discs made of carbon and stainless steel. This setup delivers consistent, controlled braking power whether you’re protecting light tippets or leaning into hard-fighting fish. The drag is smooth throughout its range, giving you confidence in both river and stillwater environments.

Designed to perfectly complement the Hero fly rod range, these reels are carefully weighted to achieve ideal balance, reducing fatigue and improving overall casting feel. Versatile, dependable, and built to last, the Hero reels are true all-round performers—offering exceptional quality and performance that far exceed their price tag.
